Streets That Look Like Fire!

The Sunday after Halloween we left for church and realized that almost overnight - the trees had changed. Now, my neighbors may think I'm weird for taking pictures of their homes, but look at the trees! Honestly, the pictures don't even capture it.

I wish I was a better photographer. I wish I could fly all you Houstonians here for the fall scenery!

It's so pretty! Why am I still in Texas, again? *sigh*

I think your pics are great!! I loved living in VA; especially this time of year. I lived in Hampton/Norfolk/VA Beach area, but it wasn't very far to go to Williamsburg and drive down the parkway. It's beautiful year round, but when the trees begin to turn...WOW! I also like the drive up I95 on the way to DC.

Got little pangs of wishing I was there going on! I'd move back in a heartbeat if I knew all my old friends were still there waiting for me, but alas, they are not. We've all moved on, but I can revel in wonderful memories! :D

No more posts like this. I miss the trees up there a lot. Even though we are not too far away, the trees in North Carolina always look like they need a drink of water to me.

I'm such a dummy! I thought you still lived here. I'm looking at the pictures thinking why doesn't my neighborhood look like that and where are all the pine trees?!

I wish we had the changing colors. I miss that from my days in upstate NY. Enjoy. Maybe it will make your remaining days easier. :)

Yeah, those trees are really pretty. I wish I could be there right now, but by the time I get there, there will be no leaves! Oh well, It just looks like everyone is at home with a cozy fire in the fireplace, with beef stew cooking and homemade apple pies! But, I'm sure that is not the case. It's very beautiful.

LOL not the case here for sure. You're right though, it looks like a perfect, American neighborhood from a movie or something. Next time I'll make sure to include the high school boy across the street that shows more crack than a plumber whenever he's outside, which is almost all day.
