One of Those Weeks

We've all had them right? I mean there are so many weeks where, literally, nothing is going on. I get so bored and restless and feel like I'm just stuck on weeks like that. I think that is why I am given weeks like we just had. Monday the kids were off but I was not. I don't remember much about that day. I just know I felt busy but came home to a clean house - thank you Bobby. I love that he has a job where he can be home with them when needed. Tuesday night Brooklyn had to participate in her Girls Scout cookie booth. Really, it wasn't a big deal for me except I had to go pick her up and I was still tired from my crazy weekend in Virginia. Wednesday I was ready to slow down but Bobby had to work that night and Caleb had a scout meeting. Cici's pizza was a nice place to wait out the hour that he was at his meeting since we live so far from everyone else in our ward. (I can't wait for that to change!). On the way home Bobby called because a girl that works next door didn't have a babysitter so I went up to his work and picked up her baby. I think he's six months but my goodness he wears an 18 month size. He was here until 12! Thursday I had signed up to work the cookie booth with Brooklyn. Really, I don't mind at all - it was just so windy and cold! I felt like an ice cube when I got home. Then Friday... AHHH Friday! I was so happy for the weekend. Saturday I watched my friend's little girl b/c she wrote my resume for me. We met up at the park in the early evening to play and hand off the baby. So now, I'm so looking forward to one of those typical, boring weeks. Although I don't think this coming week will be much better. My friend took some pictures at the park, I forgot my camera, so I'll add those when she emails them to me. Whew... no wonder all I want to do is sleep. Oh I did go and have Holly cut everyone's hair Friday night - Thanks Holly. I need to post the pics - the boys look so good and now my hair is to my shoulders. Here is one picture of it. Bobby made fun of me because I took it myself. Oh well... I think it looks cute.

HEY!! It's me! I had no idea there was a blogging world in our ward. Come visit. Can we consider our visiting teaching "done" online? I'll catch up with you later.

Your haircut is cute. I love hearing about someone else's crazy weeks. Mine come in bunches too. However, I must say (probably with all other pregnant women) I am very grateful this year for the all the effort the Girl Scouts and their moms put into selling their fabulous cookies. Thanks.

Heather, I woke up at 2 AM and could not get back to sleep, actually at 12:45, 1:30 then again at 2. Yea, one of those nights, anyway, I deceived to read some of my family blog links. I really enjoy our family blogs they make my heart smile. When I read yours it made me think of your mother. Doing the things with you children and then babysitting for someone at the last minute is something your mother would do. Thank you for sharing your day with us, and reminding me of how wonderful your mother was to all others. What a wonderful trait to carry on. Uncle Jack

My mother was the most Christ like person I've ever known so thank you Uncle Jack, it means a lot to me to have something in common with her.
