Maybe I'm just not computer savvy - help!
I like to change my blog backgrounds - can you tell? But when I do I lose all my widgets (I just figured out they were called this today). Meaning, I lose my Shelfari and links. :( Big frown! Does anyone know how I can save just those two things when I change out my template? I looked but I don't know html code so I'm totally lost. Oh well, if anyone figured it out email me please!

i want to know too! i just changed my layout for the first time today...and just finished putting all my blog links back on...ugh!
ha ha ha ha, I wish I could tell ya, but I clueless! lol it took me like 2 days to try and figure out how to change my wallpaper and settings. I swear it will be a few months before I attempt to change it again. lol
good luck, and if you figure it out,,, please let us know.
Well, at least I am not the only one!
It probably has something to do with using templates and widgets that weren't created by Blogspot. Blogspot allows you to link them but if you fiddle with them, the new template could possibly not recognize the widget's code. Maybe, maybe not. For someone who does computer work all day long, I dont' really fiddle with my blog much. It's too much like work. :D
